Overnight residential placements for juveniles who
are detained in police stations. This program assists
children who are involved with a CHINS (Child In
Need of Services) through the Department of
Children and Families and/or the court system. This
includes: runaways, stubborn children, and truancy.

Community Care Services provided this service to 217 youth during FY 2008; 105
males and 112 females. In addition, phone services only were provided regarding
100 youth who did not require placement.
