  Community Based Services

Community Care Services

CBS provides a continuum of services in southeastern Massachusetts for children, families and elders in their homes, schools or other community settings. These include:

  • In Home Therapy (IHT): providing intensive therapy in partnership with the child and family. The goal of this program is to meet the behavioral health needs of the child in the families' home.
  • Therapeutic Mentoring (TM): providing a one to one relationship with a trained mentor through coaching and support. This assists the youth to meet their behavioral health needs, including improved social skills
  • Family Stabilization Services: including crisis stabilization, service coordination, parent skills training and family therapy. These services are provided in the home and are designed to assist families to cope with multiple stressors that are often the result of behavioral heath issues.

  • School Based Therapy: includes both individual counseling and group therapy on a number of topics in middle school and high school settings.
  • Home Based Services for Elders: includes in-home therapy to assist elders in our communities with issues that may be impacting the quality of their daily life. Care is coordinated with other service providers involved, as appropriate.
  • Kids First: includes providing a safe supervised location where children can meet with their parent(s) in order to rebuild or improve relationships.
