There is a group of volunteers who assist Community Care Services six days a week throughout the year; and they work outside of our programs. They operate the Bargain Bazaar Thrift Shop, a re-sale store located at 320 Bay Street in the Whittenton neighborhood of Taunton. For the past 56 years, all profits from store sales have been donated to Community Care Services.

The volunteers’ caring has also resulted in a charming and well-maintained shop. The Bargain Bazaar was voted “BEST OF THE BEST” in the Consignment Shop category by Taunton Gazette’s Reader’s Choice.

In speaking about the relationship between the Bargain Bazaar and Community Care Services, Jean Pratt, longtime volunteer and President of the Bargain Bazaar Board of Directors, said “We support the Agency because we believe what they are doing in the community is so important.”
