Community Care Services partners with
Southeastern Massachusetts Voices Against
Violence and the Taunton School Committee to
offer the Silver City Teen Center (SCTC) to the
youth of Taunton. SCTC is housed in the
gymnasium of the original Elizabeth Pole
Elementary School, which is located at 110 County
Street in Taunton.
Dedicated to nonviolence,
the SCTC provides teens
with a safe place to gather,
participate in social and
recreational activities, get
homework help, learn
about and access
community resources and
engage in community
service opportunities. The
success of SCTC is
dependent on adult volunteers and community support.
